About Mbombela Experience

Mbombela is a siSwati name meaning “a lot of people in a small space”.

Mbombela experience was established in September 2014. The owner and staff are very informative and energetic, bursting with information and knowledge about South Africa and neighbouring countries’ attraction sites.

Our experience has been gathered in the hospitality, travel and transport industry. We recognised the demand for affordable packages for travellers, backpackers and volunteers travelling in Southern Africa. The Mbombela Experience Team is also experienced in working with people of all different cultures and traditions and we therefore keep all different needs and requirements for travellers in mind.

We also offer authentic township experiences, during which guests with an interest in community development activities can volunteer their skills and knowledge by getting involved in community projects, at the same time learning about the culture and history of African people.
